'Ranger Stories: Driving Change' is Polaris Off Road's latest video series in the Ranger Stories series.
Polaris believes a product comes to life through its applications, partnerships and, most importantly, the people who use it. This is why Polaris has embarked on a journey across Europe, the Middle East and Africa once again to discover and capture how its customers are driving change alongside the Polaris RANGER. Ranger Stories: Driving Change focuses on the positive impact Polaris customers are making in the world.
French Animal Refuge Les 3 Dindes, Episode 1
Every animal at Les 3 Dindes is treated with love, respect and care, regardless of species, from the noble horse to the overlooked turkey.
Les 3 Dindes is a non-profit organization dedicated to the animal cause, currently housing 145 animals that have been abandoned, mistreated, or rescued from factory farming and laboratories. The refuge was built to give the animals a home that mimics their natural environment as closely as possible, offering them the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful French countryside. Animals at Les 3 Dindes have an obvious bond with the team, regaining their trust in humans, rediscovering their instincts amongst other animals, and learning that they don't need to fear humans anymore.
In the first episode of the 'Driving Change' spin-off series, Polaris meets Les 3 Dindes owner Lisa Fernandez to see how care, love, and attention can make a huge difference. Lisa, who is an avid driver herself and has been a Polaris fan for many years, uses the Polaris Ranger XP 1000 to manage the 30-hectare farm – which includes feeding, administering medications and maintaining the grounds for the animals already in the refuge, as well as expanding and building new rescues in the future.
Like Lisa and her team, the Ranger XP 1000 is ready to work hard daily. In addition to being Polaris' most capable and comfortable Ranger yet, the Ranger XP 1000 also delivers excellent reliability and versatility. To reach all corners of Les 3 Dindes, which is set in the rolling hills of Southern France's countryside, an off-road vehicle is required. With its 33 cm ground clearance, 27.9 cm suspension travel, and huge 27-inch Maxxis tyres, the Ranger takes the team everywhere, from steep inclines to narrow trails. Additionally, the 1134kg towing capacity is used to pull trailers loaded with large bales of hay, and the numerous buckets of feed and the 454kg cargo bed not only provide enough space for maintenance and fencing supplies but also allow Lisa to carry along the many rescue dogs she loves to ride with.
