TYM Tractors Pioneers Sustainable Growth at the 2023 World Climate Industry Expo

TYM is aggressively advancing its commitment to carbon neutrality, reinforcing its leadership position in the industry. On the 25th, TYM declared its involvement in the "2023 World Climate Industry Expo" (WCE), set to take place at BEXCO in Busan from the 25th to the 27th of this month.

This year's participation follows their previous successful showcase at the "Carbon Neutrality EXPO" last year, where TYM demonstrated its dedication to eco-friendly technologies. This year, the company intends to display its progressive environmental solutions again, highlighting its ongoing pledge to carbon neutrality and sustainable technology development.

At this expo, TYM Tractors will be unveiling a tractor hood created using the revolutionary Long Fiber Injection (LFI) process, a first-of-its-kind in Korea. The LFI process uses the spray molding of a mixture of polyurethane resin and glass fiber to create the hood, bypassing the traditional method of painting steel plates and thereby reducing carbon emissions.

In addition, TYM will showcase tractor interior components constructed from sustainable hemp materials, which significantly contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions. Hemp farming only requires water, eliminating the need for harmful fertilizers or pesticides, and it exhibits a remarkable carbon absorption rate that is 5 to 7 times higher than other plants. TYM will also introduce an eco-friendly transmission oil certified by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). This oil, derived from renewable plant-based sources, guarantees biodegradability and low carbon emissions.

The WCE is an event that highlights state-of-the-art technologies and policies in the global climate industry sector, addressing the critical issue of climate change. Beginning this year, the WCE has consolidated four prominent exhibitions into one single event: the "Carbon Neutrality Expo," the "International Exhibition on Environmental Energy Industry," the "Carbon Neutrality Conference," and the "Korea Energy Exhibition." With the theme of "Beyond the Climate Crisis, Towards Sustainable Prosperity," this event offers programs where attendees can explore and experience the future vision of new climate industry technologies.

A representative from TYM expressed, "Building upon our commitment as the industry's first to declare ESG management, we will accelerate our efforts in achieving carbon neutrality and advancing sustainable technologies. We will continue to prioritize the environment and society, actively practicing corporate social responsibility."
