Watch how Polaris off road vehicles handle green-lanes

It’s an age-old question: Wherever can you lawfully ride off-road in the UK?

The solution? Green Lanes!

Green Lanes are legal roads in the UK, but unlike a normal road, are not treated in tarmac or other hardened tops. Instead, due to the low footfall of traffic, these roads are normally covered in grass, plants or mud – therefore the term “green” lane.

Chris Moss, a valued freelance motorcycle journalist who has been handling bikes and writing about them for over 25 years, is an experienced off-roader on two-wheels. Last month, he entered an exclusive Club Polaris member ride-out for a time of green laning, but with a difference: This time, he traded two wheels for four. Chris tested a number of Polaris off-road vehicles, including the Polaris Ranger, Polaris Sportsman, and Polaris General.

NOTE: Filming of the video fully complied with guidance and regulations established by professional bodies in the UK, including the UK industry group, EASI, the Green Laning Code of Conduct and best practise as outlined by the Green Lane Association (GLASS), and the environmental and driving recommendations set out by the Birtish Government. This pertains to the UK only.

"It is huge entertainment. I need one. Now!"
